About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc.’s Construction & Forestry Division is seeking a Journeyman Field Technician in Kent, Washington. The technician services construction and forestry equipment at customer locations, helping ensure equipment operates at peak performance and maximizing uptime. This journeyman-level role involves handling difficult repairs, traveling to customer locations in a fully equipped Pape’ service vehicle, performing high-quality work, and interacting with customers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• A driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Nice To Haves

• Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair construction and forestry equipment at customer locations.
• Help ensure customer equipment operates at peak performance and maximize uptime.
• Travel around the service area in a Pape’ service vehicle.
• Perform high-quality equipment service and repairs.
• Interact with customers and deliver reliable service.
