Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician: 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires a current Idaho Electrical License OR A current electrical license from the following states that has reciprocity with Idaho: Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Wyoming
  • Journeyman Pipefitter: 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
  • May need to work at heights and must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements; must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights.
  • Evaluate information based on measurable standards; and see details in objects or drawings and recognize slight differences in shapes and shadings.
  • Visualize objects in three dimensions from drawings.
  • Keep good balance and work at heights.
  • See well (either naturally or with correction).
  • Hear well (either naturally or with correction.)
  • Coordinate the use of eyes, hands, and feet.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
  • Installations of Raceway Systems to meet project production standards
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks
  • May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
  • Installation of small electrical equipment and supports
  • Cut pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine
  • Thread pipe using threading machine
  • Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine
  • Assemble and install a variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings, including: brass, copper, lead, glass and plastic
