About The Position
We are currently seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support industrial mining operations in the Elko, Nevada area. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent overtime hours throughout the summer and fall. Electricians will perform a variety of electrical installation and maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial environment while adhering to strict safety standards.
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician experience in industrial, mining, or heavy commercial environments
- Ability to work 60+ hours per week, including occasional Saturdays
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying site conditions
- Must have reliable transportation to the reporting location each day
- Must provide basic electrical hand tools
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attendance
Responsibilities
- Install and terminate electrical wiring and equipment
- Pull wire and cable throughout industrial facilities
- Install conduit, cable tray systems, panels, lighting, and electrical devices
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Troubleshoot and assist with electrical system installations as needed
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment in accordance with site and MSHA requirements
- Perform additional electrical duties as assigned
