About The Position

StrataTech Education Group, which includes Tulsa Welding School and The Refrigeration School, is seeking full-time, onsite Instructors for day, evening, and weekend shifts. As an Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the trades by leading hands-on training, mentoring students, and ensuring classroom safety, effective tool management, and successful curriculum delivery.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED. (Jacksonville only- 18 SCH of post-higher education)
• 3-5 years of hands on experience in the last 10 years of field taught
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Work in shop or lab environments

Responsibilities

• Teaching from pre-developed lesson plans
• Engaging students while adapting to different learning styles
• Tracking attendance and grades
• Maintaining classroom cleanliness and safety
• Managing tools and equipment
• Supporting new instructor onboarding
• Assisting with curriculum updates and testing
• Providing short-term tutoring and mentoring
