About The Position

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a full-time floater Job Coach to provide job coaching services across San Diego County in community-based and center-based work settings. The role supports clients’ employment goals and maintains program continuity when regular job coaches are absent. The schedule varies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and physically assist clients as needed.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) or in job coaching roles.
• Experience using electronic case management systems, such as Therap.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of vocational programs and Individualized Service Plans (ISP).

Responsibilities

• Fill in for Job Coaches at various work sites across San Diego County to ensure clients receive continuous support.
• Provide job coaching and supervision to clients in group settings, supporting them in their employment roles.
• Support the Employment Services team with administrative duties and employment site development projects.
• Participate in staff and client meetings and communicate progress and updates to the team.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of clients and staff and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
