About The Position

Mains’l provides person-centered, individualized hourly support to people in the community. The Job Coach guides individuals through their employment journeys, offering hands-on support as they learn job tasks and build workplace relationships in community internships and employment settings. The role also serves as a bridge between Mains’l and community business partners by providing job coaching and inclusive community training. Job Coaches are expected to offer compassionate, respectful support while maintaining professional boundaries and adapting to different environments.

Excellent customer service skills.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Safe and reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Ability to pass a driving record check.
TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance, support, and training to individuals as they perform duties in community internships or places of employment.
Assist with resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, and on-the-job training.
Support individuals in learning and navigating professional boundaries and relationships.
Support staff team members with job coach training.
Act as a liaison between community business partners and Mains’l by providing job coaching and inclusive community training.
