About The Position

As an intern on the JMP Life Sciences team, you will contribute to advanced methods and solutions across fields including causal inference, survival, genomics, clinical data science, and chemistry. The team also develops implementations using modern LLMs, agentic design, context engineering, UI design, PyTorch, and XGBoost. Internship work may include building causal inference workflows and methods, exploring algorithms that could be adopted by JMP, and testing, benchmarking, documenting, and promoting the work. The internship runs for 12 weeks, from May 18, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Interns must be available to start in person at the Cary headquarters on May 18; these dates are not flexible. The role offers hybrid work flexibility aligned with team needs.
