About The Position

JMP, a subsidiary of SAS, offers a 12-week summer internship with its JMP Life Sciences team. The team develops advanced solutions across fields including causal inference, survival, genomics, clinical data science, and chemistry, and works on emerging implementations involving modern LLMs, agentic design, context engineering, UI design, PyTorch, and XGBoost. The intern may develop causal inference workflows and methods, explore algorithms for potential adoption in JMP, and test, benchmark, document, and promote the work. The internship runs from May 18 through August 6, 2027. Interns must be available to start in person at the Cary headquarters on May 18; the dates are not flexible. The position offers hybrid work flexibility aligned with team needs.
