About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a JIRA Administrator to support a federal government client. This role involves deploying and configuring JIRA as the centralized ticketing system for tracking task assignments, deliverables, and performance metrics. The administrator will also integrate JIRA with other collaboration tools to ensure seamless data sharing and automated status updates, and will be responsible for submitting the JIRA System Implementation & Integration Report.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and capability to configure, manage, and optimize JIRA as the primary ticketing system for Work Order tracking and workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in JIRA administration, workflow development, permission management, and integrations with DevOps tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support issue resolution and system performance enhancements.
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring JIRA workflows, managing issue tracking systems, and integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance.
