About The Position

Catbird is seeking a full-time seasonal Jewelry Engraver to join its Warehouse team for the holiday season. The role engraves customer orders with precision and care, ensuring high-quality results that meet brand standards. The position requires attention to detail, technical skill, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. It is expected to start 11/2, and candidates must have open availability. Occasional overtime may be required during peak seasons. Compensation is $18 per hour.

The work takes place in a warehouse or production setting with exposure to machinery and small parts. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use magnification tools as needed, handle fine jewelry and engraving equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately engrave jewelry and other merchandise using engraving machines, tools, and software.
• Review work orders to verify personalization, spelling, and specifications.
• Perform quality-control checks on engraved items before packaging.
• Maintain and clean engraving equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or software issues and escalate as needed.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Safely handle and store jewelry pieces to prevent loss or damage.
• Collaborate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order completion.
• Follow company safety, security, and operational procedures.
