About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser engraving equipment to produce high-quality engraved products. Your expertise will contribute to the precision and efficiency of our fabrication processes, ensuring that each project meets strict quality standards. Requirements

• Skilled in blueprint reading and CAD design software or similar programs.
• Proven experience operating laser engraving machines or similar CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of tooling setup, fabrication processes, machining techniques, and materials handling procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and translate them into precisely engraved products.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential for maintaining high standards of precision.
• US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in Fanuc controls, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses is highly desirable.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers, welding, assembly line operations, and quality control practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate laser engraving machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to accurately produce engraved items.
• Program laser engravers.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and document all machine activities.
• Handle materials with care, utilizing forklifts or other materials handling tools as needed to move raw materials and finished products safely within the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify engraving accuracy and consistency.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, personal protective equipment, and adherence to factory safety standards.
