Java Full Stack Developer
About The Position
In the assigned job role of Technology Consultant 1, the Java Full Stack Developer contributes across the software development lifecycle. The role involves gathering and documenting stakeholder requirements, participating in design discussions, developing and documenting applications to detailed specifications, testing software, supporting integrations, and monitoring and troubleshooting production applications. The developer documents coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to support team knowledge sharing. The position is part of Infosys’s Communications, Media, and Technology unit, which works with clients in telecommunications, media, and technology to deliver digital transformation through digital, cloud, and AI-first solutions. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, and implementing and supporting Camunda BPM workflow automation solutions. It also calls for full-stack development, REST APIs, microservices, system integrations, and modern software engineering practices. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience implementing and supporting Camunda BPM workflow automation solutions, including BPMN process modeling, orchestration, and business process optimization.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with an agile mindset.
- Ability to work across the majority of areas in the software development lifecycle.
- Proactive approach to monitoring and resolving production issues.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Assist with targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and accurately document stakeholder requirements.
- Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help create process documentation.
- Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications according to detailed design specifications and user requirements.
- Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team to improve software performance.
- Support integration of new software features into existing system infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly, and document ongoing system maintenance.
- Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for the team knowledge repository.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement and support Camunda BPM-based workflow automation, including BPMN process modeling, orchestration, and business process optimization.
- Develop full-stack solutions, REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Use modern software engineering, testing, and DevOps practices.
- Apply AI-powered development tools to accelerate development, defect resolution, code reviews, test case generation, and technical documentation.
