About The Position

Join a small, mission-focused engineering team building and sustaining mission software. The role develops Java services and REST APIs using modern tooling, packages and deploys software with Docker, and may include limited-scope Angular and TypeScript UI work. Work is performed in customer spaces or an offsite SCIF, with regular in-person attendance at the listed work location.

Requirements

• Seven years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Java development experience.
• Experience with Git and Gradle.
• Experience with Guice or dependency injection.
• Docker experience.
• REST experience.
• Strong Linux skills.
• Must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the employer does not sponsor new clearances or clearance upgrades.
• Must live within commuting distance of Fort Meade, Maryland, and be able to work in person.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java services and REST APIs.

• Develop and sustain mission software alongside a small engineering team.
• Work in customer spaces or an offsite SCIF.
