The role involves working on cloud-native full-stack web applications, advanced data analysis tools, and machine learning capabilities for Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1.5+ years of professional experience.
  • Proficient with Java programming language.
  • Proficient with creating and using APIs based on open standards including REST or GraphQL.
  • Proficient with PostgreSQL or similar database solution.
  • Experience with Docker-based development and containerization.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies, tools, and processes, with a proven history of picking up new skills as project needs evolve.
  • Experience working in or willingness to work in classified government environments.
  • Experience developing on MacOS, Windows, and Linux.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Willingness to get a CI Poly.
  • US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Linux-based distros including RedHat or Alpine.
  • Experience with GitLab as both SDLC tool and CI/CD tool.
  • Experience with application building frameworks such as Spring Boot, dependency management tools such as maven, and testing libraries such as JUnit.
  • Experience with design considerations to support distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and/or containerization application platforms, such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.

  • Build innovative solutions for customers.
  • Develop technical solutions on an aggressive schedule.
  • Apply proven, repeatable software, technical, and analytical approaches to build solutions.
  • Have frequent interaction with end users to produce and deploy solutions.
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions using tools like Google TensorFlow and Python scikit-learn.
  • Develop and deploy applications to customer cloud environments.
  • Utilize Agile development and DevOps best practices.
