The team supports some of the time critical and revenue generating applications for investment banking business which is rapidly renovated and expanded while still being nimble & agile to cater various business needs. The ideal candidate will have to work closely with Product Owner, Development & QA engineers to deliver timely and quality deliveries. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged developer role.
Requirements
- Experience of agile and scrum methodologies
- Hands-on developer with strong database skills
- Core Java developer experience
- Integration technologies - MQ / Xml / SOAP / JSON
- Proficiency in Database Management Systems (SQL Server / Mongo) and designing / querying
- Experience in unit testing, integration testing
- CI / CD - Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT
- Sound understanding of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
- Exposure to working in a global delivery team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- More than a year of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design and software development principles.
- Consistently works to direction with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results.
- Ability to work on a range of tasks and problems, demonstrating their ability to apply their skills and knowledge.
- Organises own time to deliver against tasks set by others with a mid term horizon.
- Works co-operatively with others to achieve team goals and has a direct and positive impact on project performance and make decisions based on their understanding of the situation, not just the rules.
