Java Developer
About The Position
Pyramid Consulting is recruiting a Java Developer for an immediate 06–12+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The position is onsite in San Antonio or Plano, Texas, and offers $45–$50 per hour. The developer will create technically medium- to highly complex programs and solutions based on business requirements, develop high-quality scalable and efficient products on schedule, and contribute to meeting project goals and development objectives. The role also involves creating unit tests, identifying and resolving major risks, providing timely status updates, and mentoring less-tenured developers. Requirements
- Must have experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React/Node programs.
- Technology experience listed: Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, OpenShift, JUnit, Postman, Maven, Gloo, Kafka, OpenL, APIs, microservices, databases, and QTest.
Responsibilities
- Develop programs and technically medium- to highly complex solutions based on business requirements.
- Create unit tests to ensure accuracy.
- Identify major risk areas and drive resolution of issues.
- Provide accurate and timely status updates regarding technical tasks.
- Ensure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are met.
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions and products on schedule.
- Mentor less-tenured developers on the team.
