About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with extensive experience to join our team. This role involves working on backend development, focusing on core Java, data structures, algorithms, and cloud-based processing systems. The position is a remote, 12+ month contract opportunity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a core Java developer
- Proficient in Java Programming Fundamentals (exception handling, and multi-threading), Data Structures and Algorithms, Java APIs and Libraries
- Experience in Stream/Batch Processing and GCP
- Knowledge of Messaging/Stream Processing systems on Cloud such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, Kinesis, Dataflow, Flink etc. or Batch Processing systems such as Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Spark
- Experience with Dataproc is a strong plus
