About The Position

We are seeking a highly technical Backend Java Developer with 4-8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of thinking through complex problems, and explaining solutions step-by-step. This role requires a strong understanding of Core Java 8 & 11, Spring, Microservices, API development, and Kafka. Experience with Java Design Patterns and their implementation in application development is essential.

Requirements

• 4-8+ years of experience as a Backend Java Developer.
• 100% hands-on technical ability.
• Proficiency in Core Java 8 & 11.
• Experience with Spring framework.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Experience with API development.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Understanding of Java Design Patterns and their implementation.
• Experience with Bitbucket.
• Experience with JUNIT.
• Experience with NOSQL databases.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) Standards & Protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, FIDO).
• Hands-on experience with build/configuration management.
• Experience with debugging tools like JDeveloper, Visual Studio.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• AWS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend Java applications.
• Implement solutions using Core Java 8 & 11, Spring, Microservices, APIs, and Kafka.
• Apply Java Design Patterns in application development.
• Work with Bitbucket, JUNIT, and NOSQL.
• Debug applications using tools like JDeveloper and Visual Studio.
• Write test cases using testing tools like JUnit.
• Participate in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Understand and apply agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
