Requirements

8+ years as a Java Developer focused on backend systems
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, Kafka/message queues, event-driven systems
Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud deployment strategies
Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and DevOps practices
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
Familiarity with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL databases
Proficient in testing frameworks and E2E testing methodologies
Skilled with Git version control
Direct experience integrating and leveraging AI agent workflows (Copilot, Amazon Q)
Agile development environment experience
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with GraphQL APIs
Exposure to complex, large-scale distributed backend systems

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka and message queues.
Integrate and optimize AI agent workflows (e.g., Copilot, Amazon Q) to automate and enhance engineering processes.
Collaborate closely with front-end teams to deliver seamless, interactive user experiences.
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS Cloud using modern deployment strategies.
Ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing, E2E frameworks, and code reviews.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and release cycles.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to ensure high application availability and responsiveness.
Stay at the forefront of backend and AI technology trends to drive continuous improvement.
