About The Position

We are currently looking for a freelance Japanese Teacher for one of our clients. This is a one-to-one, general course with a total of 60 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The student is a beginner and wishes to learn Japanese for travel to Japan regularly. The student's schedule is once per week, either Wednesday after 6 pm EDT or Thursday after 6 pm EDT. The preferred start date is as soon as possible.

Requirements

• Native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Hold a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Norfolk/Suffolk.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Be able to provide CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

• Student's motivation is travel to Japan regularly.

Responsibilities

• Teach Japanese language in a one-to-one format.
• Adapt teaching to a beginner student level.
• Accommodate student's schedule preferences (Wednesday or Thursday evenings).
