About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Japanese language tutor for a client in Colorado Springs. This is a part-time, freelance position for a general language course, consisting of 30 total hours (15 x 2-hour sessions). The tutoring will be conducted one-to-one, either at the teacher's office/home or a public location in Colorado Springs. The student is a 25-year-old lady who is a beginner in Japanese, having previously studied the language in college. The schedule is once per week, on Tuesdays or Thursdays at or after 6 pm. The student's preferred start date is as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Possess a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Colorado Springs.
- Be available for sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays at or after 6 pm.
- Be able to start as soon as possible.
- Submit a CV with references (if available).
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Japanese language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct sessions at the teacher's office/home or a public location in Colorado Springs.
- Adhere to a schedule of once per week, on Tuesdays or Thursdays at or after 6 pm.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling and location based on mutual availability.
