A long-established, community-focused Japanese clinic in Torrance, California, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician. The clinic has provided high-quality primary care to the local community for many years. Candidates may be board-certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board Certification in either Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
Active and unrestricted California Medical License
Valid DEA Certificate in good standing
Professional proficiency in Japanese
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient primary care for acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
Diagnose and manage a broad range of general medical conditions
Provide preventive care, health screenings, and routine physical examinations
Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Perform related administrative and patient-care duties
