About The Position

The Janitorial position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, primarily in office areas. Duties include cleaning break rooms, offices, and restrooms; picking up and emptying trash; sweeping, mopping, recycling, and performing other custodial tasks. The role involves general housekeeping while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Candidates must be willing to work in cold and damp environments and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The listed shift is B Shift, 5:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., at an hourly rate of $22.05. Internal applicants must have no more than seven attendance points, no written warnings or suspensions in the past six months, and be out of probation. Applicants must be proficient in reading and writing, able to complete on-the-job paperwork, and communicate effectively across management levels.
