About The Position

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate and assist employees with cleaning and maintaining commercial, industrial, and medical premises. This working supervisor performs the duties of the workers supervised and directly supervises the performance of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees.

The position is full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The pay rate is $24 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of three years of verifiable work history.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
• Issue supplies and equipment.
• Resolve workers' problems or refer matters to the Manager.
• Perform the duties of the workers supervised.
• Directly supervise the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees.
• Assist in training employees.
• Plan, assign, and direct work.
• Provide feedback to managers to support effective employee performance appraisals.
• Address customer complaints and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with employees and perform related duties as a working supervisor.
