About The Position

The Janitorial Cleaner performs a variety of cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. The role helps maintain workplace appearance and sanitation and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

This is a part-time evening position scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The listed pay rate is $18.00 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. The role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
