About The Position

The Janitorial Cleaner performs a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities to maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary workplace. The role contributes to the facility’s overall appearance and to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and the position pays $18.00 per hour. A specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. This role may be a good fit for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Previous cleaning experience is a plus, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. ABM encourages veterans and candidates with military experience to apply.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
Military or veteran experience is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Empty trash and recycling bins and handle waste in accordance with company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
