About The Position

Environment Control is a locally owned commercial cleaning company with over 50 years of experience. The Janitorial Cleaner performs hands-on, physical cleaning work in commercial spaces, helping create clean and healthy environments. The role is suited to someone who enjoys staying busy, working at a steady pace, noticing details, and taking ownership of their work. Cleaning procedures are provided through paid training, and all cleaning supplies are provided.

This is a part-time evening position with schedules that can accommodate the employee’s availability. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour, and travel time is paid at the regular hourly rate. Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a reliable phone for communication.
• Be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and performing physical tasks such as bending, walking, and general movement.
• Be able to read and follow simple instructions in English (Intermediate – Level 2).
• Successfully complete a background check.
• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• If assigned to a medical facility, have black scrub bottoms.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and wipe down surfaces in offices.
• Clean and stock bathrooms.
• Empty trash and sanitize touchpoints.
• Communicate supply needs or issues to a supervisor.
• Follow the cleaning procedures taught during training.
