About The Position

Environment Control is hiring a part-time evening Janitorial Cleaner for hands-on commercial cleaning work. The role is suited to someone who enjoys physical work, staying busy, working at a steady pace, and taking pride in the results. Cleaners help create clean, healthy spaces for the people who use them. Flexible evening schedules are available based on employee availability. No experience is required; paid training is provided, and cleaning supplies are provided. The company is locally owned and has more than 50 years of experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• A reliable phone for communication.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and general movement.
• Able to read and follow simple instructions in English (Intermediate – Level 2).
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• If assigned to a medical facility, black scrub bottoms are required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and wipe down office surfaces.
• Clean and restock bathrooms.
• Empty trash, sanitize touchpoints, and clean spaces.
• Communicate supply needs or issues to a supervisor.
• Follow cleaning procedures.
