About The Position

Peninsula Cleaning Service, Inc. is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain a school facility in Yorktown, Virginia. The role helps provide a clean, sanitary, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. Work includes cleaning and disinfecting classrooms, restrooms, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting assigned spaces; removing trash; and replenishing supplies such as paper towels, soap, and liners. The position requires attention to detail when disinfecting high-touch surfaces and following cleaning protocols. This is a physically active part-time evening role, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Requirements

At least 2 years of janitorial experience is preferred, especially in a commercial setting.
Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
Comfort with being on your feet and moving throughout the shift.
A valid driver's license or ID is preferred.
Ability to pass a background check is preferred.
