About The Position

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is seeking a creative, energetic Janitorial Assistant Account Manager with a “Whatever It Takes” attitude. The role helps oversee cleaning and maintenance operations in an office environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing janitorial staff, vendor relationships, and client expectations.

The position oversees daily janitorial operations, supervises and supports staff, handles client concerns, maintains cleaning standards, and ensures compliance with safety policies. It also involves managing labor costs, supplies, and equipment budgets; maintaining inventory; and coordinating with external vendors for specialized services and equipment needs. Compensation is $46,800 per year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial operations, including interior and exterior cleaning, restrooms, food court areas, and common spaces.
• Ensure compliance with cleaning schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe office environment.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial team members.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback; ensure proper staffing levels.
• Address client concerns, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally, and maintain relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain cleaning standards and procedures; perform routine audits and inspections.
• Ensure proper cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals are used.
• Ensure staff follow OSHA and company safety policies.
• Maintain documentation for safety, incidents, and compliance; conduct safety training and enforce safe work practices.
• Manage labor costs, supplies, and equipment budgets; order and maintain inventory of cleaning products and equipment.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning or maintenance services.
• Ensure equipment is maintained, repaired, or replaced as needed.
