About The Position

Unifi is seeking a Janitorial Agent to support airline ground services by cleaning and sanitizing aircraft-related and facility areas. The role includes cleaning windows, restrooms, surfaces, trim, and floors; restocking supplies; disposing of trash and recyclables; and safely preparing cleaning solutions. The agent also transports cleaning equipment and supplies and performs other related duties appropriate to the role’s skills and experience.

The position requires one or more years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED. Paid training is provided. Candidates must meet airport security requirements, including completing ramp and SIDA training, and be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The work may take place outdoors in severe seasonal weather and involves frequent movement, lifting, and working in cramped or elevated areas.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a local, in-state resident.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a background check of up to 10 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly, and repetitively lift 40 to 50 pounds onto raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cramped or high places.
• Ability to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize windows, restrooms, surfaces, and trim.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing, or vacuuming.
• Replenish supplies in bathrooms and inventory rooms.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
• Safely prepare cleaning solutions according to chemical specifications.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service areas.
• Perform other related duties within the expected skill and experience capabilities of the position.
