About The Position

Unifi is seeking Janitorial Agents to support its aviation services operations. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing facilities, replenishing supplies, handling waste, and preparing cleaning solutions safely according to chemical specifications. Employees may also perform other related duties within the skill and experience capabilities expected for the position. Paid training is provided. Full-time employment starts at 30 hours per week.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Must be a local, in-state resident.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a background check of up to 10 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly, and repetitively lift 40 to 50 pounds onto raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cramped or high places.
• Ability to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize windows, restrooms (including toilets, sinks, and mirrors), surfaces, and trim.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing, or vacuuming.
• Replenish supplies in bathrooms and inventory rooms.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by safely mixing them in containers according to chemical specifications.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for the position.
