About The Position

Unifi is seeking a Janitorial Agent to clean and sanitize airport facilities. The role includes cleaning windows, restrooms, surfaces, trim, and floors; replenishing bathroom and inventory-room supplies; emptying trash and recycling; and safely preparing cleaning solutions according to chemical specifications. The agent also lifts and carries cleaning equipment and supplies and performs other related duties within the capabilities expected for the position. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

At least one year of relevant experience.
Must be a local, in-state resident.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check of up to 10 years.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly, and repetitively lift 40 to 50 pounds onto raised surfaces.
Able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
Able to work in cramped or high places and carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
Able and willing to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Able and willing to work outdoors in weather that may include severe seasonal conditions.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize windows, restrooms, surfaces, and trim.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing, or vacuuming.
Replenish supplies in bathrooms and inventory rooms.
Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
Prepare cleaning solutions safely and according to chemical specifications.
Lift and carry cleaning equipment, trays, and cases of supplies to service areas.
Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities.
