About The Position
The Janitor maintains cleanliness and sanitation at a federal facility in Washington, DC. The role involves cleaning offices, hallways, and restrooms; completing rounds; removing clutter; emptying trash; refreshing restrooms; and sanitizing equipment. A REAL ID with a star is required for facility entry. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, with one of the following shifts: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
Requirements
- A REAL ID with a star is required for entry to the federal facility.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial experience in a hospital environment is highly desired.
- Experience with cleaning, floor care, commercial cleaning, custodial work, facilities maintenance, or industrial cleaning.
