About The Position
The Facilities Group Hawaii (TFG HI) is a local facilities maintenance company providing commercial building maintenance and cleaning services. Janitors service client properties throughout the island, including office suites, professional buildings, education and medical facilities, and financial institutions. They represent TFG HI to its clients and help maintain a positive impression of client businesses. This essential Operations team role involves cleaning office suites, restrooms, and indoor and outdoor common areas. The janitor is expected to be reliable, hardworking, self-motivated, professional, committed to customer satisfaction, and able to solve problems. The position offers a consistent schedule at the same location, competitive hourly pay, potential performance-based bonuses, medical benefits, a 401(k), and opportunities for career growth. Work is scheduled Sunday through Saturday, 5:00 AM–7:00 AM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. Applicants must clear a criminal background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.; the company uses E-Verify.
Requirements
- Must be able to work efficiently and follow specific directions.
- Clear and effective communication skills; basic English proficiency is necessary.
- Self-starter with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Hiring is contingent on clearing a criminal background check.
