About The Position

ESFM is hiring a part-time Janitor at Dexcom in Mesa, Arizona. The role keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing routine and heavy cleaning duties, including floor care, carpet shampooing, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. The position follows approved cleaning procedures and applicable federal, state, and county guidelines, and contributes to a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace environment.

The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. More details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $16.50 per hour. A $500 referral bonus is payable after 90 days of continuous attendance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors according to approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture to clean properly, then return furniture to its correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, sanitize all surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the work.
• Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform work in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors, and shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, coworkers, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
