About The Position

This is a temporary position responsible for the general cleaning of non-production areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, and break areas. The role also involves cleaning bathrooms located downstairs within the production area. On-the-job training is provided, and candidates must be trained on Blood Borne Pathogens. The position requires performing other duties as tasked by administration.

Requirements

6 months of work history in the last 12 months documented within the application's work history and/or resume.
Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
Must be trained on Blood Borne Pathogens.
Must be able to climb up and down stairs.
Must be able to tolerate standing/walking for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to lift 40 or more pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
Must be able to use both arms above and below shoulder level as needed.
Occasional kneeling, bending and twisting at waist are required.
Must be able to work in areas that have strong smells, cold, wet or damp.

Candidates that have worked for Tyson Foods or Tyson Affiliates 3 or more times will not be eligible for rehire.

Responsibilities

General cleaning of non-production areas, except for bathrooms located downstairs within the production area.
Cleaning hallways, offices, restrooms, and break areas.
Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, stripping and waxing of floors.
Trash collection and removal to onsite dumpsters.
Performing other duties as tasked by administration.
