Janitor - Saturday & Sunday 7am-11am
About The Position
The Janitor maintains a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. Tasks include operating the scrubber and buffer; dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. The role also maintains cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms. The position supports customer experience and a positive store culture, follows health and safety, operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards, and may be cross-trained to support other store areas and front-end coverage. The role follows company policies, including labor and break-period requirements, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.
- Able to multitask.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

- Works effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities
- Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards and operate and maintain the scrubber and buffer.
- Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
- Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
- Cross-train in other store areas, such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
- Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company policies, including shrink-reduction guidelines.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
- Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break-period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Model established customer-experience practices and support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
