About The Position
This position performs general cleaning and upkeep of the manufacturing plant, including common areas such as breakrooms, restrooms, and conference rooms. The Janitor keeps cleaning and maintenance supplies neatly stored according to safety practices and notifies Maintenance Technicians and/or the Facility Manager when supplies need to be replenished. The role also assists maintenance with general facility upkeep and may perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of safety practices for storing cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Mechanically inclined, with the ability to work with basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
- Ability to add and subtract fractions.
- Communicates well with others and asks for and offers help when needed.
- Organized; completes work in a timely manner and can prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solver who gathers and analyzes information skillfully and generates suggestions for improving work.
- Able to work independently and as a team member and contribute to a positive team spirit.
- Observes and follows safety procedures.
Responsibilities

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager.
