Janitor - Golf Operations
About The Position
The Janitor is responsible for the care and cleanliness of golf course bathrooms, the Pro Shop, and public areas. The role includes cleaning indoor and outdoor areas, replenishing restroom supplies, inspecting facilities and reporting areas needing attention, and helping with golf cart parking and charging. Before leaving each evening, the employee must ensure rental carts are in the garage and plugged into chargers, and that doors are locked and the alarm system is activated. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona driver's license and a good driving record for insurance purposes.
- Sufficient training and education to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
- Experience working with cleaning products and machinery.
- Ability to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to perform duties involving extended sitting or standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, reaching, and handling or operating objects and tools.

- One year of janitorial experience.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean the Pro Shop, including dusting windowsills, countertops, and display areas; vacuuming or mopping; removing trash; cleaning wastebaskets; and replacing light bulbs.
- Clean the Pro Shop's outside patio and patio furniture.
- Clean golf course bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, and floors.
- Restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper; remove trash; and check and replace deodorizers.
- Wash windows inside and outside.
- Inspect the facility for areas requiring special attention and report them to the Pro Shop Supervisor.
- Before departing each evening, check that rental carts are in the garage and plugged into chargers, doors are locked, and the alarm system is activated.
- Clean and park golf carts when needed.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality according to policy guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
