About The Position
Janitorial Team Members help set the pace for a clean, sanitary shift and provide dependable, fast service. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing the restaurant, handling trash, addressing maintenance needs with management, and following safe procedures for cleaning chemicals. Team members also help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use mops, chemicals, and cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily sanitation and deep cleaning of the restaurant, including floors, bathrooms, and grounds.
- Empty and properly dispose of all trash.
- Work with the management team to address maintenance needs inside and outside the restaurant.
- Handle cleaning chemicals properly, following safety guidelines and procedures for their use, storage, and disposal.
- Alert management when cleaning supplies need to be reordered.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and laws, including health and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the management team.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
