About The Position

The Janitor Technician works in a biomedical laboratory and manufacturing facility, providing environmental services that support customers and help maintain clean, sanitary, and sterile work areas. The role includes caring for offices and common areas and supporting the maintenance and sterility of laboratories, equipment, and storage areas. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, and follows a third-shift schedule of 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day in a physically active role.
Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication, email, and training.
Ability to pass a full physical and drug test for work in a physically active role.
Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
Reliable, hardworking team player.

Nice To Haves

Experience performing housekeeping, custodial, or sanitization duties in a medical, laboratory, or clean-room environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse areas, and storage areas so the facility is ready for routine daily activities.
Clean and disinfect laboratories and equipment so they are ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
Stock and organize supplies in required areas.
Use Microsoft applications and other facility computer systems for charting, email, training, and related tasks.
Follow standard procedures and carry out activities independently and as part of a team.
Complete regulated-environment documentation, including logbooks and training records, and communicate with other groups about equipment maintenance activities and special cleanings.
