About The Position

Southeast Airport Services, Inc. is seeking dependable and hardworking Janitors/Cleaners to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout airport facilities at Orlando International Airport. The role supports a positive experience for passengers, tenants, and staff. Assignments may be indoors or outdoors depending on operational needs. This position works in an active airport environment with exposure to noise, crowds, moving equipment, and cleaning chemicals. Employees must follow airport security and safety protocols.

Requirements

Ability to speak and understand basic English for safety and work instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance; regular and reliable attendance is an essential function due to airport staffing requirements.
Must be available for flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid government-issued identification.
Valid Social Security card or employment authorization.
Valid U.S. Passport or Birth Certificate.
Ability to obtain and maintain required Airport Security Badge clearance.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs frequently; lift and carry up to 40 pounds; and push or pull cleaning carts and machinery.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
Maintain cleanliness of terminals, waiting areas, offices, and common spaces.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, elevator buttons, counters, and seating.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove debris from floors, stairwells, escalators, elevators, and sidewalks.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
Operate janitorial equipment, including mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.
Provide courteous assistance to airport passengers when approached.
Follow company, airport, OSHA, and sanitation safety procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Janitorial Supervisor or Operations Manager.
