About The Position

The Budd Group is hiring a part-time Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a client facility on President Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for 20 hours per week. The role involves routine cleaning and sanitizing to help maintain a safe, clean environment for facility occupants. Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus but is not required; training is provided.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and dependability for evening shifts.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, standing, and cleaning effectively throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaner; experience is not required and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Remove trash.
• Restock supplies and sanitize high-touch areas.
• Maintain a safe, clean atmosphere for facility occupants.
• Work with the supervisory team on site.
