The JAG Instructor is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and instructing students who face significant challenges in advancing to the next grade level, graduating, or transitioning successfully from school to a career with advancement opportunities. This role involves providing appropriate curriculum, ensuring students meet JAG competencies through various teaching methods, and tailoring the program to individual student needs. The instructor will also recruit students, administer testing, establish career development plans, and foster positive relationships with school personnel, employers, parents, and community groups. Additionally, the instructor will advise a JAG Career Association, provide mentoring and support to students, maintain accurate records, and assist students with post-graduation employment or educational pursuits. Participation in statewide JAG trainings is also required.
