About The Position

This position is for a recent CDL-A graduate in the Sanford, FL area. The company offers a structured, paid training program designed to get new drivers behind the wheel quickly with a dedicated trainer. The training period lasts for 3 to 5 weeks, during which drivers will operate real freight on real routes and receive ongoing evaluations. Drivers will only go solo when they are deemed ready, and they are paid throughout the entire training period. The training covers safe Class A tractor-trailer operation, ELD operation and hours-of-service compliance, pre and post-trip inspection procedures, and dispatch communication and company road procedures. On a day-to-day basis, drivers will operate a Class A tractor-trailer within DOT regulations, haul no-touch dry van freight with approximately 70% drop and hook loads, meet delivery windows, maintain on-time performance, keep ELD logs and other trip paperwork accurate, complete vehicle inspections, and maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL license
21 years of age or older
120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school
Clean driving record
Must clear DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
