About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Italian Teacher for a client in Columbia, United States. This is a one-to-one general Italian course with a total of 30 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The lessons will take place at a Starbucks Downtown in Columbia. The student is at an elementary level, aged 18-24, and prefers to have lessons once per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Sunday in the afternoon or evening. The preferred start date is August 30, 2026. The student's motivation for learning Italian is to speak conversationally with locals during their upcoming Christmas trip to Italy, having visited multiple times previously.

Requirements

• Native Italian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Columbia, United States).
• Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
• Meet the stated conditions for the role.
