About The Position

The ITAD Bench Technician, referred to in the description as the Asset Retirement Technician, works under the supervision of the ITAD Life Cycle Manager to process IT assets for resale, refurbishment, or recycling. The role includes testing and refurbishing equipment, accurately entering inventory into a database, and cleaning refurbished products for remarketing. Success in the role requires attention to detail, customer service skills, and knowledge of—or a desire to learn about—IT equipment.

The technician maintains a warehouse environment to company standards, follows department and company policies and procedures, builds positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and supports other work-related duties as assigned. Requirements

• General knowledge of consumer electronics, including computers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, and Access.

• Willingness to fill in where business needs dictate and go beyond what is required.

Responsibilities
