About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAPʼs business processes and improve work efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools knowledge
  • SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with BTP, Ariba, and SuccessFactors
  • Analyzing customer technical requirements and coordinating with experts from ECS Delivery team to drive to resolution
  • ECS customer landscape and interdependencies between systems
  • Advising on critical and complex landscape changes during life cycle management
  • Designing and leading Specialist reports on current to future customer landscapes
  • SAP S/4HANA and its integration into existing business systems

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements.
  • Deliver outcomes of assigned projects; work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility.
  • Represents SAP to customers.
  • Communicate clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand.
  • Advocate for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns.
  • Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages.
  • Facilitate the system, service, and product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services.
  • Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
  • Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks.
  • Apply agile software delivery process and the industry‐standard toolset for DevOps implementation.
  • Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non‐SQL databases or data lakes.
  • Apply modern SaaS platform, integration, and extensibility concepts.

  • The targeted combined range for this position is $153,358 - $245,600.
