IT Technology Services Senior Specialist
About The Position
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Allen, TX location to design and develop systems, applications, products and services to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency. This role will provide expert support in operations, facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle, deliver outcomes of assigned projects, and enhance complex systems/processes. The specialist will represent SAP to customers, advocate for the end user by understanding their needs, behaviors, and usage patterns, and promote the role of User Experience through contemporary user-centered design methodologies. Responsibilities include executing technical feasibility studies, engaging with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions, performing complex data and system development along with technology integration, ensuring stable, secure, performant, and high-available operations for system and cloud services, facilitating agile engagement with the business, and revising/updating existing programs with required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Evaluating SAP architecture, identifying weaknesses, and improving opportunities
- Advising customers on technical requirements, constraints, and supporting technical situations throughout lifecycle
- Technical planning, implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP solutions
- Agile methodologies including Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and blended approaches
- Managing and providing hands-on Architect level support of SAP related projects
- Collaborating and coordinating with business and internal infrastructure teams to deliver stable, highly available business systems
- S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools
- SAP S/4 HANA, BW on HANA, SDI, SDA, HA/DR setup, RTO and RPO, HSR, and BW MultiHost
- SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with SCP and BTP

Responsibilities
- Provide the expert support in operations.

- Facilitate agile engagement with the business.
- Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
